Q: Two Iphones are on account; Updated one Iphone now incoming text messages are going to both Iphones. How do I correct this?

Just upgraded one Iphone 4 with Ios6 and added to same ITunes account that has one other Iphone 4S on it. Now incoming text messages from Iphone 4 are also going to the other Iphone. How can I correct this?

on ur phone go to settings>Messages, if imessage is on scroll down click receve at and you can change your settings there

This is what happens when one Apple ID is shared among multiple devices for iMessage. Receive At has no affect on this.

You will need to create a new Apple ID at https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
Then on the iPhone 4 go Settings > iCloud > Account and sign in with the new Apple ID. Everything else will stay the same as far as sharing one iTunes account, this just stops iCloud from merging the two devices text messages as well as other information iCloud handles.
