Oct 14, 2012 12:30 PM in response to Phiinxby Carolyn Samit,★HelpfulMight be corrupted preferences...
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Preferences
Click Go then move the com.apple.Grab.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Trash.
Try a screen shot.

Oct 14, 2012 2:35 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby Phiinx,I couldn't find the 'com.apple.Grab.plist' file.
Luckily i was able to fix it, i think it was because i hadn't gotten the latest update? I'm not sure but i downloaded it and i can take screenshots again. If it stops working again i'll try your way.
Cheers~
