The only stuff you can put on an ipad is gotten through the App store. (Unless you've jail broken it and if tha'ts the case we can't help you)

Programs for a PC don't run on an iPad any more than Mac programs will run on a PC (or iPad for that matter) three totally different operating systems

I wish I had seen this thread back in May. Although I agree with everybody that says your iOS won't run the DNSChanger malware (or any other that we're aware of), but I doubt the warnings from Google were false.

    I'm having the same problem.

If you are still having this problem please do the following:

Using the Settings app choose Wi-Fi.

Now click the blue ">" at the end of your chosen network.

In the "DHCP" tab tell us the following entries:

    Router

    DNS

    Search Domains

If you are using an Apple router and have the Airport Utility app installed on your iPad, click the button at the bottom of the network window "Manage this Network" to launch the utility.

Click on your Airport Base Station. In the window that opens click the blue "Edit" button.

Click on Internet Connection and tell us all the entries under:

    DNS Server

    IPv6 DNS Server

I have the same question. Yes I've jailbroken my iPad. First time I checked with dns-changer.eu it stated mine was manipulated, then I checked again it stated that mine is clean. Getting confused & curious, I checked again several times. Most of those stated mine is clean, but once manipulated again then clean while I rechecked around 1 minute later.

I've 2 laptops at home, 1 is fine & 1 is affected while the site stated that both of those are clean. The affected laptop gets limited access through wi fi. Connection is pretty normal using LAN but yahoo.com is still firewalled. I've scanned the affected use HitmanPro btw.

Please help, is there anything I can do or I just reset my ipad? Thanks a lot..

Per Terms of Service to which you agreed when you joined this

forum, discussion of jailbroken iPhones is prohibited.

Now you are experiencing one of the reasons why jailbreak is not

a good idea. Google may provide some assistance. Or you

could contact the developers of the jailbreak software - they do

    support their product don't they?

I think I should reset it back to factory setting

As with any system infected with malware the only way you can be sure you have cleaned it out is to wipe it clean. Malware may also be stored in the iPad's backup so your best bet will be to Restore it as a new iPad and start over.

Thanks a lot ^^ I can connect to internet after reset the network connection. I'm planning to restore to clean the malware out later after Apple has new iOS. Because it's automatically updated right? And many people suggest not to use iOS 6, not many improvement yet throw Youtube away.

Neither. It is not updated automatically, and it adds quite a bit.
