I’m having trouble establishing Photo Stream.  I’m using OS 10.8.2 and iPhoto 9.4.1.    I have my iCloud account, I’m signed in to it.  I open System Preferences and under iCloud, I turn on Photo Streams and have both options checked.  I open iPhoto and under Preferences, I try to turn on Photo Stream but am directed “In order to use Photo Stream, you have to be signed into your iCloud account in System Preferences,” and when I choose continue, I am back in System Preferences where I already have Photo Stream turned on and my iCloud account is signed in.   It’s a circle that I can’t break.   I do have an iCloud email account set up.   To add to the confusion, I should be showing “photo stream” in my sources list in iPhoto.  I don’t.   The three categories of sources are:  Library, Recent, and Slideshows.  I have no “Web Photo Stream” showing.   Do I perhaps have a bad copy of iPhoto 9.4.1.
