Downgrading of any version of iOS isn't supported by Apple. If you search the web, you'll find instructions that may work, but you're on your own should any problems arise. For many people it goes without problems, but for some it's reportedly bricked their devices. You may have better luck asking for assistance in sorting out the problem sending pictures. I'd suggest the iPhone forum; this is the QuickTime forum which really isn't be best forum for this issue.

I too was having a terrible time sharing photos. I went into Settings>Mail and re-entered my passwords for all of my @'s. Since then I've had no additional issues.
