It wouldn't hurt to also let the iPod's battery full drain as a test.
Otherwise, you'll need to take/send the iPod in for service/replacement either through Apple or a third party service.

Oct 17, 2012 12:38 AM in response to planb77by shreyas111190,thnx buddy... but my i pod is working.... i connected to PC it got started.... evrythng is ok excpt sleep wake button. ones ipod sleeps it cant b waken untill connected to power supply. so wat shud i do????
