What happened to my podcast playlist in iOS6?

OK I found a work around!!! Delete the Podcast app on your iPhone, then bam, the podcast smartlist is forced into your Music app just like before! Thank goodness....easy fix, just not well posted. Crosspost the fix everyone!

James Ward4, I'm afraid I don't understand how to take your reply. the only thing I can see under that link is that the podcast app isn't even listed under ios apps. do you think this has to do with the fact that it isn't working properly yet?.. =/

The reason I posted a link to the product feedback form it that the absence of a features is not something fellow users here can rally assist with. You need to let Apple know you desire that function.

I noticed the same problem with the subscription to New York Times delivered by Audible. It downloads nicely in itunes, but does not sync to the podcasts app. It is also not found under "Audio Books" in the iOS Music app. You can listen to this subcription using the Audible app, though that's yet another app to open.

ok James, I see your point, but I guess the reason the thread was started in the first place was confusion & the hope that there was an obscure solution to the problem. I have for sure graded the app in the app store - where I would think/hope that the poor overall grade should keep the developpers up 24/7 working on a fix - but I guess I was also naive enough to think that Apple had moderators reporting back, up the chain, what users here on the forum talk about. don't you?

Considering the size of the forum and the level of activity, no I wouldn't. The moderators' job is to keep the peace and enforce the ToU. And as someone who has been involved with software development for over two decades, I can tell you that a foum like this is a lousy conduit for application/system requirements.

I don't see any current comments on this subject but this ia a huge problem for me. Everytime I login to Itunes on my computer, my entire podcast list is gone! Why must I keep subscribing? I listen to over 20 podcasts and this is getting ridiculous. What is going on? What is the fix for this?
