Q: cellular data uncontrolled upload, iphone sent 700 Mb in 1 hour without doing anything.

hi i just bought the new iphone 5 (32 gb) and since then i had a massive upload of data that i didn't know, until the cellular data provider sent me a text warning me that i had just 300 Mb left. I also tried to solve the problem switching off all the possibile data consuptions, but it still uploads (15 minutes more and uploaded 180 Mb!!).

Need help please!

do a hard reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and home button unil the apple logo appers.

btw are you on verizon?

Restart your phone first, hold the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up. Who is your service with.?

i'm with vodafone.. @chrisfromgastoniai just did what you told me but i still uploads out of my control, 1,5 Mb in 10 seconds!
@Roshanalex just done hard reset but it uploaded 4 Mb in 5 seconds!!

For right now turn off cellular data and wifi to stop the bleeding or just put it in airplane mode. At least until you can get to an apple store genius bar.
