I read the user guide - I didn't see a troubleshooting section though. I understand that to "save" a photo sent to me via text that I select it and say "save to camera roll", but I used to NOT have to do that. I used to be able to tap the picture in the text (small view) and it would open up on my phone and THEN I could select whether I wanted to save it or not. Suddenly that step is gone. Sometimes I want to look at the picture bigger than the small version in the text, but I don't always want to have to save it to my camera roll first and then open it only to delete it when I'm done. Seems a little silly to me.
I just had AT&T fix this issue in 3 quick steps.
Contacted ATT via chat (att wireless support) and explained problem.
- They had me turn off my iphone
- After a brief time, they had me power back up
- Asked me to text myself a photo
I was able to click on the photo and get the full version. I was also able to do the same for the previously unaccessable photos that I had received.
The ATT tech mentioned that the solution was "I just had to send a few updates and restart your network connection."
I hope this helps.
