The camera connection kit is made to pull photos and videos off the card and onto the iPad. there is no protocol to transfer files from the iPad onto the card.

You may be able to transfer photos to a computer and then to the card however.

Why are you trying to put them on the card? Is there a specific reason, or just for backing up purposes?

Thanks for your response. I have used up all my cloud space with picture and videos. Thought I'd use such cards to manage and store them there. I would probably have the same situation if I was trying to export from iPad to an external hard drive, huh? I sure appreciate your time and thoughts on this. I'm going to try to load to laptop and then to the card. Thanks again.

there isn't any support for exporting data off the iPad (beyond syncing it through iTunes or uploading it somewhere online)

Sad but true. Thank you so very much for your responses and support. If you would, how do I delete photos, albums, etc., from iPad and iCloud? I'm stumped! Thanks
