Oct 23, 2012 8:03 AM in response to Malignanceby tinafox10,I have the new apple TV & an airmac. I did see the photo stream icon, do I just go onto that & choose pictures that I want uploaded onto the screen saver? I'm pretty sure all my pictures from my iphone are uploaded onto my computer. I just want to be able to pick which photos I want to see on the aplle tv.

Oct 24, 2012 7:13 AM in response to tinafox10by Malignance,Your very welcome. From my understanding of Photo Stream once the photos are uploaded to iCloud they stay there for 30 days so they may still appear on you Apple TV even if you remove them for the Photo Stream folder. I'm not 100% on that one.

Nov 16, 2012 5:11 PM in response to Malignanceby tinafox10,So now I'm having another issue. For some reason my itunes music is no longer on my apple TV. I'm trying to load my music on it again but it just keeps spiining and saying "loading Tina Fox's library" but nothing is happening.

Nov 16, 2012 11:30 PM in response to tinafox10by Malignance,Here's a few things I would try.
Restart iTunes by quitting the application, iTunes > Quit.
Restart the Apple TV, Setttings > General > Restart.
Restart you Mac, Apple menu > Restart.
Just to note, iTunes needs to be running on your computer to stream its contents.

Nov 16, 2012 11:54 PM in response to tinafox10by Alley_Cat,The problem with Photostream is that it's transient.
If your photos are in your computer in iPhoto, then go to iTunes>Advanced>Choose Photos to Share and select those events you want to dispplay and they'll copy to AppleTV when the computer is on.
Note AppleTV does not permanently store them so powering off/restarts, using it for other things may delete some of the photos on the unit (but not from iPhoto).
