Jul 31, 2012 7:39 PM in response to swang1975by IronBeeHind,Try following this article: Troubleshooting wifi connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398?viewlocale=en_US
If that doesn't work, you have the option to back up and restore to factory settings, then testing the connection. But before doing that troubleshoot your router.
Contact your service provider and shown them this article for recommended settings. >> http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4199?viewlocale=en_US
Hope this helps.

Oct 1, 2012 9:35 AM in response to swang1975by winktn,I am having the same problem with both my iPhone5 and my iPad2. Even when I get onto wifi, it stops getting the signal after a few minutes. The solutions here get me back up and running for the short term, but I get dropped again shortly.

Oct 1, 2012 11:16 PM in response to GemmaDarlingby Lesocute,Okay now... Go to settings> General > About... if wireless says N/A that means you have a hardware issue and you need to send it to service. if wireless shows you the wireless #, all you have to do, restore the device as new using itunes.

Oct 4, 2012 2:12 PM in response to swang1975by jgonzalezNYC,I thought I had fixed the issues I had with the wifi here at my job. Unfortunately, now they are arising again. I will log into the wifi, enter the password and the wifi status bar will go on at full bars. It will work for a few minutes until my phone goes to sleep. I then will unlock the phone to use and the wifi again will come up but only for a few minutes. It will then send back to 4G/LTE. This isn't a hardware issue, right? Any help will be appreaciated. Thanks.

Oct 12, 2012 3:50 AM in response to Targat586by sethmark,What doesn't make sense to me is I have a phone that worked. Then didn't work. Then I cleared the Safari cache and now it does and has for a week.
I've seen more conflicting info in one thread... Apple, you need to quietly make it all better quick!

Oct 19, 2012 9:46 PM in response to ChingWanby justjesper, did you Downgrade to IOS 6 ?
People are having massive problems with the IOS 6 and wifi is one of them.
Try to ask to go back to IOS 5.1.1
I'm starting to think that windows might be a better solution LOL

Oct 24, 2012 5:10 PM in response to swang1975by FBIELE,This is upsetting. Iphone 5 (32Gig) not connecting to Internet now....WAS working fine...now nothing. Sometimes it connects, sometimes not, sometimes the dial spins. Once it connects=NOTHING.
Come on guys. This is EASY stuff here. A phone that cannot connect to WiFi? Data plans that are not unlimited.
This is why I am upset. Along with, according to the other posts, thousands of other people. Is there a software fix coming or is this all being covered up in an attempt to get people to go over their new limited data plans????
