I just got a Ipod Shuffle 3g as a gift from a friend(no receipt but brand new) which he bought at the local Mac Station (not apple store). Unfortunatly it has the faulty headphones(no volume control) and the serial number starts off xx913... so it qualifys for the replacement. http://www.apple.com/support/headphones/replacementprogram/  Unfortuately the site says that my ipod is out of warrenty even though it is brand new, and wants to charge me for the headphones. I donot have a credit card to enter, so is there some email address that I can contact to get my replacement without a credit card or receipt? I can provide photos of the ipod and headphones if I need to.
