Q: how to change my mac's language completely

after i bought my mac in china, the apple store helping guy set my mac as chinese. now even if i change the preference language, the main language is still chinese. How do i completely change it into english? please help!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Go to system preferenes/language & text/language and move English to the top of the list and restart.
