even if i have the osx lion can i still download an old version of bootcamp to run windows vista?

    No. The support for it is simply not built into Lion.

    Actually you can run xp if you install Snowleopard and boot camp with XP first then upgrade to lion. Do not upgrade boot camp when doing the lion upgrade however. I have this setup on my imac and it works fine.
