Hi there,

I have installed bootcamp, but as I ran into some trouble, such as suddenly not being able to access bootcamp, with a message saying "no bootable disk" and after using rEFit to try to solve the problem by syncing the partitions (as I read that it could help on a Blog), I am now decided I want to remove my existing Bootcamp and reinstall again later, when this one is fully uninstalled.

My problem is that as I go to Bootcamp Assistant, It doesn't display the option to "Remove" de already installed bootcamp. It simply doens't show any signs of that partition.

If I remove (delete) the BOOTCAMP partition, are the files related to that windows bootcamp instalation all gone? Or should I try another way to uninstall this bootcamp setting?

Thanks anyway

You did something other than use Bootcamp Assistant to try to change the Bootcamp partition. This probably caused your HD to get messed up. You may have to format your entire drive, reinstall OSx, then start again with Bootcamp Assistant. Make sure you get all your data off your OSx partition first.

What if I simply remove the BOOTCAMP partition via the Disk Utility?

You will end up reformatting the entire disk again, do it properly, disk utility is not the way. Frankly (as Bob says) it is probaby too late already.
