Q: Can I use mainstage as a remote plugin rack to logic

I have a spare mac mini which I've been thinking of using as a remote plugin rack - that is, run my most cpu consuming plugins in the spare computer, while doing the main tracking and effects on logic.

That said, I would like if there is actually some integration so I can do this without resorting to actually midi-ing the connections. I know that audio wise, actual audio  connections will be to be done (either digital or analog, audio interface to audio interface), since any kind of remote audio over the network seem limiting, due to bandwith constraints... however, control seems plausible, either thru rewire (is there such a thing as remote rewire?) or other means...

Anyone doing this?

Thanks in advance for your help
