    Back up your iPhoto library, Depress the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library

    It's beginning to look like you'll need to reinstall iPhoto and then reinstall from it's original source and update to the latest version. 

     

    To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/  folder,

    Then install iPhoto from the disk it came on originally. If you got 9.4.1 from the App Store then go there to the Previous Purchaes section to download and install again.

     

    Just to be sure we haven't missed anything repair disk permissions with Disk Utility first.  A longshot but any port in a storm.
