I am making a driving log for my daughter in Numbers 9.  I am able to post start times and stop times and get the total (hours/minutes) driven during a period of time.  In the column where the time driven is posted - I used the formula time stop minus time started and I get the correct time driven.  Now at the end of the week, I need to know total time driven for the week.  Each cell in the column is listed as 1:45 (1 hour 45 minutes).  How do I talley up the column to get the sum of the week.  I was trying to use the same as Excell (  =SUM(F5:F55)  ) but all get an error "Values being summed by SUM must be either all durations or all numbers, unless one value is a date."

Can anyone help with this?

Thanking you in advance.

Charlie
