So the audiobook downloaded to the Books library category in iTunes and when you double click on it to play it nothing happens? If so, delete the audiobook and try redownloading it.
Once we can get it to play in iTunes, we can then set it up to sync to the Shuffle.

Why not just give it a shot. Redownloading it won't cost you anything.
