Sep 9, 2012 8:36 PM in response to genduthkby sberman,You said " ... after some updates ..." which makes me think you should remove the printer (using the minus on the left side of System Preferences > Print & Scan) and add it again. You might also want to restart your computer.

Sep 9, 2012 8:56 PM in response to genduthkby PAHU,Seems unusual that you would get this message for a printer - especially with it mentioning destination. I have seen this message for a fax driver, which you requires you to enter a destination fax number in order for it to work. If you don't enter the fax number in the driver then you get a similar error message.
Depending on the printer that you have, if it is an all in one and has a fax component, then there could be a setting in the driver that is selected to use the fax component. So if removing the printer and re-adding it does not help, then check the menus for the driver.
Also, another setting that can catch you out is the Presets menu. If this has a setting for faxing and it is selected, then this could cause the message. So check that you have the Presets menu set to Default Settings.

Sep 28, 2012 11:00 AM in response to genduthkby jkbpe,I was using a driver for my Canon MF8380 fax instead of just the printer. That got my the "no destinations have been added to the destination list" message. When I switched to the printer driver instead of the fax driver, all was well

Nov 1, 2012 8:09 PM in response to atamansby genduthk,I had to reinstall new printer drivers from the Canon webiste. Then reinstall all the printers. As someone notes above don't go for the FAX drivers either, they cause problems for some reason.
