Are there ANY bluetooth receivers on the market that actually work with iOS6? I googled it for days and it seems that nobody has a clue.

Have you turned WiFi off as a test? It fixed my problems on a set of Sony DR-BT140Q Bluetooth headsets. It is probably not a long term solution.

I am having problems too. After i turn on my bluetooth sound bar I start to play a couple of songs then my iphone 4 drops the signal and I am 5 feet from the unit. I have to keep turning off my unit to connect to iphone 4.

Issues here as well; although my issues appear when my iPhone 4 syncs with my Alpine receiver in my car.  Previously, music track, artist, and album infomation would stream on the receiver.  Now no longer.  What's more, when I plug in the phone through USB, I can't play any music at all.  iOS6: NOT HELPFUL.

I have my fears that I can just throw my very expensive Beats Wireless headset into the wastebin now... I don't think Apples cares one **** about it not working after installation of iOS6......

I have an iPhone 4S and a Plantronics BackBeat GO. I also have the same problems with micro cuts in musics that everyone else is having. And its with iOS 6.

But... I also have an iPAD 2. It also has iOS 6 installed. And it has no audio problems with the Plantronics unit.

So at least in my case its some kind of interaction between the bluetooth GO unit and my iPhone hardware - not the iPad hardware.

I have a new iPad and  the same problems with micro cuts in musics that everyone else is having.  All of my in-house BT speakers play the micro cut-outs every min. or so since upgrading to iOS 6. The only way to prevent the problem is to stop streaming over wifi and stream the signal from Verizon. Help!

I'm also having the same issues.  Started right after installing iOS 6.0.  I have Beats wireless as well.  I don't want to swap my phone - it's clearly not a hardware issue if it worked perfectly before iOS 6.0 and now it's crap.  Then again, perhaps I SHOULD swap my phone....to a SAMSUNG!!!!

I have to say that I'm pretty much a LEECH when it comes to Support Communities - I always come and research how to fix the particular problem I am having  - but harldy ever comment.  (yes, that's to my shame! )  But I have to comment with this issue because I am experiencing the exact same thing.  I have both the newest iPad as well as an iPhone 4S that both worked perfectly for months with my Logitech Boombox (bluetooth connection).  AS SOON AS I UPDATED TO IOS 6 I now lose sound from the speakers every two or three minutes.  Incredibly annoying!  It does come back after a second but it is incredibly disrupting.  TURNING OFF WiFi DOES stop this from happening - but this is not a FIX by any stretch of the imagination for me.  Most of my music I am streaming from Spotify, or online classes - and this obviously demands that my WiFi connection stays on.  Anyways, sorry I don't have a FIX but I just felt I had to add my voice to this in case by any stretch Apple keeps an eye on these posts and tries to fix these problems!

Got the 4 and after upgrading to iOS 6, found the audio quality became bad.  I sync with the stereo in my 2012 Jetta and the sound is crackly, especially on the right side as another user pointed out.  I do not have any audio dropouts though.

One other thing: the phone (usually) can no longer remember which song I was playing last.  Sometimes it'll start playing from 20 songs (in shuffle mode) prior and play them in the same order.  Or it will pick a single song that I played two nights prior and only play that tune.

I can't wait for WP8 to see if its better than android.  Definately had it with this company.  I feel like a beta tester.

Thanks for the tip about turning wifi off.  With the wifi off, I've been able to listen to music all afternoon without it cutting out every minute or so.  And, I still have an unlimited data plan, so I can keep that up for quite a while.

Hi guys, here's a list of the hardware that i have, iOS device, iOS version installed on the iDevices and the results of bluetooth connectivity.

    - Dr Dre Wireless Headphones

    - iPhone 3GS on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)

    - iPhone 4 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)

    - iPhone 4S on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 4.0 Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)

    - iPhone 5 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 4.0 Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)

    - iPad 2 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 2.1 + EDR Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)

    - iPad 3 on iOS 6 --> This iDevice has bluetooth 4.0 Hardware (according to Apple SPECS)

    Now for the results:

    - Every iDevices listed up there USED TO WORK perfectly on iOS 5 except iPhone 5 because this iDevice didn't exist.

    - iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPad 2 all WORK FLAWLESSLY with the Dr Dre Wireless Headphones even on iOS 6 ... my guess on that is because the hardware on those iDevices support bluetooth 2.1 + EDR only (Apple SPECS).

    - iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPad 3 all DON'T WORK with the Dr Dre Wireless Headphones on iOS 6 ... my guess on that is because the hardware on those iDevices support bluetooth 4.0 (Apple SPECS).

It would seem that Apple is not using the same HARDWARE DRIVER and this seems to the basis of the problems with bluetooth headphone (i can't confirm anything for you people with car problems but BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES i can confirm since i have several brands with all the same results).

The problem that i have and i'm pretty sure most of you have with bluetooth headphones is connectivity DROPS or sound THAT STOPS PLAYING although the iPhone STILL THINK that it's sending sound to your headphones BUT no sound can be heard.

I will send this BUG report to Apple and see what happens ... and if you have the same problems ... why don't you  send my bug report as well unless you guys think it's not clear enough or not well documented.

iPad 3 and iPhone 4S here all drops audio. Very annoying.  My speakers is BOSE sounddock 10 Bluetooth.  Drops every minute or so, and because the same problem happens with iPhone 4S too, it most likely is a iOS problem...

    APPLE FIX IT ASAP,,,

even iOS 6.0.1 update has NO Fix for the problem, very disappointing. Hear the news, I WILL NEVER EVER BUY AN APPLE PRODUCT AGAIN!
