Hi All............ I know you all must be worried about WIFI grayed out problem and some IPhone have also problem in Bluetooth's specially in 4s this problem is very common. I had same problem, I tried every solutions i reset network setting, reset my phone try to downgrade software but none helps me. So here I am telling you this is not the problem of software its the problem of hardware. Now before telling you the solution let me clear that some people think that this problem is in IOS 6 but their is no problem with IOS 6 its the problem of hardware. So let's come to solution.
1: Turn off your IPhone. (any model, I had problem in 4s)
2: Warp your phone in a polythene bag.
3: Then put your phone in refrigerate Frazier for at least 20 minutes.
4: Then open your phone from polythene bag and turn on.
The WIFI and Bluetooth will start working. And if after some time WIFI or Bluetooth grayed out again believe this process and extend the time from 20 minutes to 30 minutes.
The solution is very stupid I know but believe or not it works. Please try now and let me know it work or not.

My wifi is greyed out and I just got off the phone with Apple support. They said it was a software issue and a tech could fix it over the phone but I would have to renew the maintence contract. I asked why the factory reset didn't fix the issue and she said it doesn't fix all problem but if I spent the $139 for repair contact they can tell me how to fix it over the phone. She was very pushy after i said i didn't want the contact and would not help me after I said no.

Back up your phone to your computer using itunes. Put your phone in DFU mode or recovery mode and have itunes restore the phone and set it up as a new phone. If those steps don't work its a hardware issue and it would need to be replaced. If you need help over the phone its $19 Pay per incident and 69 dollars for applecare protection.

Did that multiple time, still greyed out. The tech was really pushy about selling me the extra warranty and that it could be fixed immediately if I got the new warranty. I guess they get a commission if they sell a warranty.
