I have GarageBand 09 Version 5.0 (356). I went to GarageBand "Check for Update" and it said:
A new version of GarageBand is available with iLife ’11
I clicked on the "Learn More" where I then navigated to the iLife 11 upgrade and to the individual iLife software upgrades. When I selected update to GarageBand, I received the following message:
We could not complete your purchase.
GarageBand is already installed on this computer. Choose Software Update from the Apple menu to check for available updates.
It is like I am stuck in a loop. Go to Update says an Update is available, then I try to Update and it says the Garage band is already installed and for me to choose Software Update again.
