Oct 29, 2012 10:24 AM in response to subhajitby Knucklesmac,Hello,
Have you tried another power adapter?
I've known adapters to glow, but not turn on the computer.
If it's getting warm, then I would be concerned about the possibilities being the DC inboard, however would advise checking the power supply first.
Best of luck

Oct 29, 2012 10:31 AM in response to Knucklesmacby subhajit,Thanks but I don't have another power adapter.
But as I said, with the battery in, the cable glows amber/orange and without it, it glows green.
Also noticed nothing happens when I press the button on the battery (which I assume is meant to show the level of charge?)

The cable will glow orange while the battery is present as its charging the battery(or trying to)
If there is no battery to charge or the battery is fully charged then the light glows green.
