Is anyone having to charge their iPhone 5 twice a day? I know apple doesn't care, but they don't seem to want to put out lightning chargers/adapters anywhere, I know I'm not harsh on the battery, I've had every iPhone except the first one. None were this bad. And apple does make good quality items so this kinda surprises me...any one else got this problem?

iPhone 5, iOS 6

    Well Trudie with the Attitudie,

If you would have spent half the time searching this forum as you did whining in your post, you would have gotten the answer to your question.

Use the search box at the upper right hand corner of the page, or look to the right in the MORE LIKE THIS box.

BTW, making ridiculous comments like "I know apple doesn't care" to us users, just makes you look ridiculous.

It's pretty safe to say at this point apple does not care, they aren't acknowledging the battery problem and probably won't. The simple fact of it all they want their phones to be thin and sexy and add software that is hard on the battery but don't want to put a bigger battery in them which results in us watching the batter drain like a bath tub. This will be my last apple product, I'm sick of the same old crap every time a new ios comes out

Are you on a carrier's 4G LTE network? That could be a big factor due to the fact that current 4G LTE technology is a battery hog. One of the best things to do is if you really aren't using your iPhone for data intensive tasks, it may be best to go into your Settings and turning of the LTE radio.

    Howdy,

No problem here, it gives as advertised - I use the phone all day without issue, and have plenty of power at the end of the day. Of course, I use it mainly as phone and as a day organizer - no games, a little surfing, maybe, and of course, a load of email.

    Cheers,

    M.

    Try these:

    1. Turn off LTE

    2. Reset Newtork (Settings, General, Rest, Network). You'll have to re-enter WiFi passwords and the like

hen I first got my 5, I had the same issue as you. Doing these fixed it
