I know how to save a document but how do I retrieve a document from the cloud?

How can I open a saved document, change the name and save it as the new document without losing the original document.

iMac, iOS 6.0.1

Just as you would any other document whether stored on your Mac or iCloud. Open the document & use Save As… by holding down the Option/alt key while selecting the File menu or duplicate the document & then save it. In either case, you will be presented with the standard save dialog where you can give the file a new name.

Actually, all of your documents in iCloud are also stored on your Mac for access when you are offline & will be synced to the cloud when you are online.
