why do I keep getting asked for my icloud password

Starting tonight I keep getting asked for my icloud password. I have 2 computers and 2 iphones that use this account. I've had to re-enter the password on all of them. 3 of them are working, one is not. Is something up with icoloud or is it just my account? If it's just my account, what would trigger this?

    Same problem here.


    Problem started on the iTunes store......I had to change my password for the apple ID. After changing it, I can access my apple ID account, but my Mac, iPad and also iPhone keeps asking for my iCloud pass.


    Any more with this problem???

    the same thing is happening to me, but only on my macbook, my iphone is fine... whats most annoying is i have almost all my music stored on itunes match, and i cant access any of them on my computer right now.

    same thing happening for me. Can access on here (apple forum), can access on i tunes, can access on iphone but cant access on icloud on the mac

    Have you tried rebooting the device? Sometimes the cache is cleared or corrupted. Rebooting will create new cache in which you need to save your password once.

    I haven't been able to log-in with my MacBook Air for 2 weeks. I could log-in with iPad, iPhone, Mac mini and via the web-site. Very frustrating. This morning when I rebooted the MacBook Air I was finally able to log-in! Hope I will work for you to! Good luck

    Same here. It's been like this for a couple days. Every device keeps asking me fairly often for my password -- my iphone 4s, my MacBook Pro, my Mac Pro, and my two Apple TVs. Every device seems to forget my password from time to time throughout the day. Very annoying. Or, it'll give me an error message saying that something's wrong with my iCloud account.


    It all started when I got an email with the Subject Line of "Account Info Change" that stated, in part:


    The following information for your Apple ID xxxxxxx was updated on 10/02/2012:

    But then it was followed by a blank section, so apparently nothing was changed. I know I didn't go and change anything. Then, underneath the blank section, it said:


    If these changes were made in error, or if you believe an unauthorized person accessed your account, please reset your account password immediately by going to

    I went onto iCloud, and everything seemed fine, but now none of my devices remember my iCloud password for very long, or I get error messages saying that something was wrong with my iCloud device.

    I have been having the same problem. The problem is with iCloud, not with any of my devices (two Macs, an iPhone, and an iPad). All of them started repeatedly asking for my iCloud password at once.


    So far, I have deleted and re-added the iCloud account to each device. This did not cure the problem. I also changed my iCloud password (this ensured that the password complied with Apple's latest strong password requirements), but that did not help.


    It's been happening since last Sunday, Oct. 28.
