My mail.app keeps telling me that my gmail authentication failed whenever I try to access my gmail account from mail.app. I know the username and password are correct because they allow access to my account through a browser. Is this a problem I created when I set up gmail 2-step verification? Is there a preferences problem? Account info problem? Mail.app works fine for my work account and my Comcast account. Only gmail seems fritzed.
