    Same problem here ...

my iphone 4s used to work perfectly with all my BT speakers and my Porsche Cayenne 2007 with mObridge BT kit.

After the iOS6 upgrade I had to re-pair all BT speakers by deleting the existing profiles in the iphone. Pairing with Porsche/mObridge works for the handsfree/phone part but I cannot get A2DP streaming to work anymore, no matter how often I reset or delete profiles and re-pair the devices. iOS 6.0.1 did not change that either ...

One of the key reasons (aside of all the marketing/design/branding blabla) at least for me to purchase Apple products was that they just worked, especially with each other.

I used to be a strong Windows supporter but have fully converted to Apple ... I own or owned an ipod, iphone 2G, iphone 3GS, iphone 4s, AppleTV 1, AppleTV2, ipad 1, ipad 3, 13" MacBook Air 2010 and am thinking about getting the 15" MacBook Pro Retina ... ****, even my Wifi now consists of Airport Extreme and Airport Express!

Having a seamless Apple chain made life so much easier and more efficient, exactly like Apple have marketed their products over the last couple of years.

The ads where the Apple guys speak of "the best Apple experience ever", "the most simple and efficient way to do things", "the best we have ever made" are still in my ears ...

The most important asset Apple have created with their easy-to-use and simple products was pure customer satisfaction ... even to the extent they could completely turn a loyal Windows and Blackberry user like myself into an entire Apple geek ...

Now, however, it seems this philosophy and these mantras have all become obsolete ... and it's more important to just throw incomplete and faulty products out there fast because of fear of losing market share ... this is going to backfire, if you don't watch out, APPLE!

iOS6 is an absolute disgrace, starting with Apple maps which is not even close to Google maps, getting rid of the Youtube app without any notice and of course all these connectivity problems! Since I hopped onto the Apple train with my first ipod 7 years ago I have not once seen such a faulty release from Apple and for the very first time since joining the Apple followers, I am thinking about getting the products from alternative providers ...

It's a classic management mistake to just rush products to market and jeopardize customer satisfaction just because it seems the competition is gaining ground. For the first time in years, Apple is about to lose customers just because of product quality (something that had been declared an integral part of the company's strategy). For the first time in years,

Let's hope this is not the first in a series of mistakes ... in the mean time, Apple should get cranking on those issues!

    iOS 6.01 User Experience:

    1) Wireless Software Update - "Error Updating Software."  Plugging in to iTunes did work as a back up.

    2) No improvement in BT functionality.

iPhone 5 and iOS 6.0 User Experience:

    1) New phone lacking BASIC functionality

    2) Software update that does not address the problem

    3) CEO apology for a trivial App with multiple other options (Maps), but none for this much more critical aspect of the product

    #Apple #iPhone5 #iOS6 #FAIL

I just forked out $280.00 for a pair of the new Klipsch Image One bluetooth headphones. They sporatically work with my Iphone 5 and Ipad. The music constantly cuts out and occasionally just stops. With my Ipad, I cannot control the music functions from my headphones at all. I have to control from the Ipad. I'm positive it's because of iOS 6. With the earlier operating system my other bluetooth devices worked flawlessly. After being an Apple junky for years, I'm starting to change my opinion. They released iOS6.1 with no bluetooth fix. ***??

I have a TuneLink Auto BT adapter. Since I updated to iOS 6.0.1, my bluetooth connection keeps dropping. I have to turn off my car and restart it multiple times before it will even detect (let alone pair up).  Today, it would play for a few seconds and then just drop my BT connection for no apparent reason.

    I'm mighty frustrated.

    Apple, fix the bloody thing!

IOS 6.0.1 fixed my Bluetooth pairing problem with my KIA 2011 Optima.  Phone pairs now and works fine, just like it did in IOS 5 days.  Interesting there's no mention of Bluetooth being updated in 6.0.1, though?

Apple seems to be ignoring that  bluetooth problem exists. I am looking at going to Android.

They know it exists, as we all do, but wont say that they do.

Still have the same problems after 6.0.1 update.

    Poor customer relations!!!!

I am having to use call forwarding to a spare phone that works on my car BT in order to receive calls on it.

makes you wonder why you suport Apple.

I couldn't agree more!!! I updated this morning in the vain hope that it might fix the issue but I wasn't that confident because there was no mention of it in the 6.0.1 notes. Needless to say the BT is still not working so glad I wasted $1500 on a new BT stereo 3 days before iOS6 came out so that I could play my iTunes library easily in my car...

COME ON APPLE SORT IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got off the phone with Apple Support. They claim to have no record of a Bluetooth Issue. I guess seeing as the MILLIONS of iPhone users haven't rioted outside their offices then it isn't worth acknowledging. So according to Apple, nothing is being done to address the issue. Their customer service *****.

I managed to get my Bluetooth stable finally.

In my case, I have a New Potato TuneLink Auto.

In its iPhone app, I configured it as such:

    Auto Connect: Off

    Auto Play: Off

    Auto Run App: Off

I suspect it's the Auto Run App setting that is causing havoc with my particular adapter. Hope this can help others here.

Ok... that did not work at all!

I'm back to the TuneLink Auto losing its connection again. Even resetting my network settings didn't work. I even reset all settings to no avail.

My bluetooth headset works without issue. It's just my auto handsfree kit that's driving me nuts.

I'm resorting to using a long audio cable from my 4S to the aux jack in my car.

    Fix this already, Apple!

Tonight, I'm going to backup and restore my 4S to see if that resolves my bluetooth issues...

I completely erased my iPhone 4 and set it up as a "new phone". No apps, no photos, no contacts. The phone was restored to out of the box state.

Bluetooth still didn't work, so we have eliminated the possibility of any conflict with old data or apps. The IOS 6 firmware is BROKEN and Apple needs to admit the issue exists and fix it.

Talking on the phone while driving is $125 fine and 3 demerit points.

I am appaled that Apple hasn't done squat. Do we need to storm their offices and bring along the tar and feathers?

I have two iPhones (4 running on iOS 4.x and 4S running on 5.1.1). I have just started using the 4S and ran into this issue, it won't pair with any bluetooth devices I have, not even with the iPnone 4. It is reidiculous that Apple simple does not care about it and keep throwing us at othe rocmpanies asing for support on their devices that do work and are compatible with anyone else.

Before complaining about Apple's stupid phones, I carefully tested all my bt devices connecting them to each other. I have devices manufactured by Dell, Sony, Samsung, LG, etc, everything works as expected but Apple's. What else do we need to do in order to get some respect from Apple?

Same thing with the battery on the 4S, is gets depleted in half the way as compared to the older iPhone 4, simply ridiculous.

Apple, make your products work instead of spending money on fancy TV campaigns!!!
