That is iTunes way of telling you to transfer your purchases. Items purchased on the phone need to be synced to the iTunes on the computer and that is when that happens, when you get that warning.

Yes, but that particular app doesn't sync. I have authorized the computer via the "Store" dropdown.

With the phone connected in iTunes, you can select it in the device pane and right-click and select Transfer Purchases.

Thanks, ChrisJ. I tried all the methods in the support document and have concluded there may be some old accounts that aren't showing up in "My accounts". Your info was of great help.
