Q: Cannot print via USB connection to AirPort Express

I have been using my printer via a USB connection to my AirPort Express. Recently, I purchased a TimeCapsule, and restructured my network so that the TimeCapsule was the source of the network, and the Express was merely extending it. My printer is still connected to the Express, but I am no longer able to locate it on the network, and my computer will not print to it.

What am I missing?

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Suggest that you re-install the printer again.

Make sure that the printer is connected to the AirPort Express and powered on

(I assume that you have verified that the Express is "extending" correctly)

On your Mac, open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)

    Open Print and Scan

Click the + button at the bottom of the printer list

    Hopefully, the printer will appear

Click on the name of the prnter to highlight it, then click Add

    Try to print

The printer troubleshooting guide helped immensely. I actually did need to power down my AirPort Express and printer and re-start them, along with clearing my printer settings, but all is well now. Thank you for the link!
