I am also getting this problem. Download and pay for a movie and 5 minutes into the dowload it state Itunes is currently unavailable. Try again later. Not even Please try again later. AA - Apple Arrogance - the new microsoft. My advice - buy the DVD - the selection is better and you can always return it.

I just started having the same problem last night. I tried clearing the cache but movies will only play for a few minutes before the system drops back to the error screen.

I'm getting the same error message on my second and third generation Apple TVs. It ***** having to hit menu a million times during the movie so I can continue to watch it. Any fixes for this yet?

I get this error message with iTunes music in iTunes Match on my Apple TV as well. I watched an entire show last night and it never gave the error, but it was back right after that. The only thing that works well is AirPlay.
