Q: Upgrade
How do I upgrade from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)? I'm using an iMac G3 400 MHz/512K L2/64MB 10GB/DVD/56K/GP. It is from 1999 and is the indigo model. I also can't connect it to the Internet. I realize its old but it would be cool to be able to use it again. Any help would be appreciated.
iMac, Mac OS 9.0.x

Hello,
Tiger Requirements...
To use Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, your Macintosh needs:
* A PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
* Built-in FireWire
* At least 256 MB of RAM (I recommend 1GB minimum)
* DVD drive (DVD-ROM), Combo (CD-RW/DVD-ROM) or SuperDrive (DVD-R) for installation
* At least 3 GB of free disk space; 4 GB if you install the XCode 2 Developer Tools (I recommend 20GB minimum)
