Q: how do you delete an iCloud email name?

What do you mean exactly? Do you want to delete the actual email address and associated account? Or change the name before the @ in the address? Or change your name on emails you send?

Are you trying to change the name that corresponds with the email address..  IE mine is jtrent***@icloud.com and it says the name is Joseph V. so thats what people see..  I have jtrent***@me.com and it has an ex girlfriends name associated with it, but it's greyed out on all my Apple products, so I need to know how to change it and I think that's what the topic starter was asking about if I'm not mistaken??
