I have some songs on my ITunes which I transfered to my IPod Classic. They played fine.  Since my last ITunes update the song are still on the IPod but they will not play, just skip over to the next song.  I did a restore  on the IPod and reloaded the songs.  They play on the ITunes even with the IPod hooked up.  If I just try to play them on the IPod they skip over.

What format are these tracks in and are these downloads from the iTunes Store?

    Hello,

I have the latest Itunes and a IPOD CLASSIC updated.

Some songs i can play in itunes (MP3 CDRip 320 KBS) won't play in the ipod.

I don't know how to fix this problem.

I restored the ipod from the itunes and sync again, but the problem persist.

The sogs are Skipped when i try to play.

I find a fix for this problem: sync the music with mediamonkey.

ALL songs can be played in the ipod after sync with mediamonkey.

Is very strange this problem, maybe itunes generate this problem, because after aync with itunes many songs are skiped and won't play, but with mediamonkey sync the problem is solved.

Thanks for sharing what worked for you.  Another option would be to run those same MP3s through MP3 Validator to make sure they are healthy files.
