Wrapping text in table

The cell does not adjust when I add text.  I get a plus + sign in a box.  Even in the inspector I have the "WRAP TEXT IN CELL" check marked. It cuts off the text and doesnt allow for multiple lines of text.

    Hhi Ix',

     

    I would suggest that your text is in a text box, not a Table. The plus sign indicates that you have more text than will fit in the box at its current size.

     

    Table cells will expand vertically to accommodate text as it is entered.

    Barry,

     

    If the option in the Table inspector to "Automatically resize to fit content" is unchecked, a cell will behave like your textbox.
