Hi,

I face a lot of eye strain from the native resolution (1366x768) and thought of reducing the resolution to make it better. However, all the available resolutions in the display preferences are wrong for the 11 inch air. None of them are suited for the same scale as the native resolution and all of them crop the screen in some way, which is a mistake probably made by the engineers. Here are the available resolutions -

1366x768

1152x720

1024x768

1024x640

800x600

I checked online and it seems that the best alternative to the native resolution is 1280x720 (720p). This is slightly larger than the native and is in the same scale, so should work well. However, since this is not available in the preferences, does anyone know how to enable this in my macbook air 11 inch??

PS - I'm running OSX version 10.8.2.

Thanks.
