I have an iPhone 4, with up-to-date iOS.  I've taken it to Europe many times and had no

problems.  Now it no longer connects to European providers.  When I land on

the plane, I get "Searching..." for a while, and then "No Service".

If I turn off auto-detect for carriers, I see the local carrier, but if I select it,

it "thinks" for a minute and then says "Carrier no longer available".  I'm

with several other people who have American AT&T iPhones and they all

work fine.

I've tried the usual fixes: cycle power, hard reset, going in and out of

airplane mode, network reset.  Nothing works.

I assume it's a hardware problem, but if someone knows a fix, I'd like to hear

it.

Thanks in Advance,

Eric

Did you call AT&T and make sure you have international roaming turned on?

Has your device been jailbroken or hacked to unlock?
