I have a late 2008 Macbook Pro, 15 inch. DDR3, 1067 MHz, 2 GB of memory by default.

I read online that the maximum is 4 GB of memory for my particular model, but I still wish to do that, since memory has become a big issue for my computer.

My question is basically how to go about the process. I have no experience physically installing memory, so unless it's very easy (could someone explain if so?), could someone guide me as far as the way to go about the process of doubling my memory? Would you recommend just taking it into an Apple store for service, and if so, do you know how long that takes? I would appreciate any help on the matter. Thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
