Until yesterday I worked with my MacBook connected to my Cable Modem through a wire. I purchase an Airport Express. But when setting up the Airport Express, the Airport Utility Aplication keeps saying that it is not connecrted to the Internet. All cables are in the right place. And when I put the cable from the cable modem directly in the MacBook it shows that there is Internet connection. I have have rebooted everything a few times, done the set up process again, but the Airport Utility Aplication keeps saying that it is not connecrted to the Internet.

AirPort Express 802.11N (2nd generation), iOS 6.0.1

If you are sure that you Airport Express is configured correctly, then you may check with your Internets service provider and ask are they use MAC address filtering and probably limiting number of devices that may connect to the Internet

When you connect the cable from your modem to the WAN port (circle of dots) does the little green light next to the port on the Express light up? - if not then you might have a defective Express.
