I am using the following which may be of use to you to know

Office Outlook 2011 for Mac.

iTunes 10.7 which is the latest version on a MacBook Pro OS X 10.7.5.

iPhone 4S software version 6.0.1

Everything has been working great but today I have just tried to sync my contacts with my iPhone 4S and it won't sync. Not only will it not sync but ALL my contacts have been wiped! I connect to iTunes via wi-fi and sync with iTunes. I do not like iCloud so don't use it for contacts.

I would normally conntect to phone via wi-fi, then click sync contacts, then click either apply or sync and the job would be done but not now.

Please please can someone help me? I've been trawling the internet for answers but they all come up with the same, which isn't working for me.

MacBook Pro (17-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.2), Still learning how to use a Mac!

If the address book on the computer was empty when you tried to set up the sync relationship, then the contacts on the phone were replaced by the empty address book on your computer.  They are gone.

My address book is OK on the computer but when I synced it didn't sync the contacts. I spoke with a man at Apple and even he couldn't get it to work. I have however, managed to do it in a different way now.

I spoke with Microsoft who inform me they no longer offer support for Office for Mac
