Trahs your preferences, repair permissions, hide all events and projects from the application.

Is this the trial version? Is this the first time you've launched the application? What are the computer specs?

OK, so did you trash prefs, repair permissions, and hide events and projects?

    by using the sec.

What does this mean? You have to do it all. Everything I said before you go any further.

You use Preference Manager from Digital Rebellion to trash your preferences. You use Disk Utility to repair permissions.

One thing at a time. So the application is not corrupt. The video files, events and projects, should be blank because you hid them. Make sure background rendering is switched off in the playback preferences.

Next, with the application closed, in each project and each event folder in the Finder trash all the render files. Then move one event at a time into the Final Cut Events folder. You're trying to find out where the corruption is. If each event works, then try each project, one at a time.

The Videos Files are all in iPhoto, and they are Playable.

Video isn't supposed to be in iPhoto. If you want to use video in FCP you should import it driectly into FCP using the import function.
