Hello, I'm working with footage from a Sony HandyCam DCR-SX45 to create a time lapse video on Final Cut Pro 7. Recently I just leaarned that Final Cut (as well as iMovie) do not support the MPG-2 files the Sony HandyCam produces from the footage, I can still upload them into the program but it gives footage where people (or any sort of objects) have blank lines running thru them, is this just a setting the program inputs on the video or do I need to convert the footage into a supportable format?
