The developer is UK revenues and customs and they don't have any real support system. As the program works on the identical Mac I am guessing that there ius something on my Mac that is either stopping the program from starting up from a security aspect or a clash with another app.
I was hoping that one of you very clever people might at least have some ideas as to what I can check to solve the issue.
You can create another user account and log into it. Then try that app, if the app works successfuly then you know the issue is specific to the user account it does not work in and need to troubleshoot it from there. If it doesn't work in the new user account then you know the problem is a global issue and need to check specifications on the application to see if the version of OS X is supported.
Thanks, I had tried that and with the same result. Sincd my lasy reply I uninstalled Flash and the App works. I am assuming that there is a clash between the App and the latest flash player.
I would like to thank you very much for your help and your time. I have only had my Mac for about 5 months so am still working my way through learning the intimacies of it. People like you make all the difference.
Very best wishes
