Every time I enable Photo Stream in Aperture (3.4.2 / 3.4.3) the program hangs. I am using a macbook pro 17", 2.3 GHz core i7 8GB Ram, Mountain Lion (10.8.2).

I've tried uninstalling (with AppCleaner) then re-installing fresh from the appstore. Same with iPhoto. I've even manually deleted all of the photos in the photo stream using my iPhone, still just hangs and causes the fans to go to max...

HELP!

Aperture 3, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), MacBook Pro 2.3 Ghz i7 / 8GB RAM

Not sure if AppCleaner does this, but have you tried removing your prefs? Quit Aperture, and from the Finder, hold down the "Option" key and go to the Go menu. Then select Library and navigate to the Preferences folder. From there, move the com.apple.aperture.plist file to the Trash. Does Aperture still crash when you enable Photo Stream?
