I copied a project to another HD and now there are multiple missing events. I upgraded to new FCPX and now the majority of projects on the old drive are also missing events.

I was using a usb 2 HD and it was very slow. I bought a 2TB firewire drive and tried to copy the main project from the old drive.  When I plugged in the new drive and not the old drive, much of the main project had missing events. But when I plugged in the old drive as well as the new drive the project in the new drive is all there.  I tried everything I could to fix this. Deleted and recopied in FCPX. Dragged everything in Finder to new drive. Got rid of preferences. Then I updated to the newest version of FCPX .06 and now most of the events on the old drive are missing. File folders there. Events missing. HELP!
