I think everything is normal so far. I have a lifetime warranty anyway, so if one day I notice something doesn't work, I'll get in touch with them.
However, earlier I mentioned that I wanted to screen capture a video game. And it didn't really work so well, the result file (the result video basically) had a huge framedrop and I'm not sure why, I've tested another screen capturing software and it works better already. I've checked in activity monitor and none of them (the game or the software to record) had even used 1 GB, and their limit is at 4 since they're both 32 bit.
So it's not related to the RAM I think, rather to the recording software itself.
