    What overheating problem?

Are you saying every single iPad 3 sold to date has an overheating problem, and what does that include?

I have no overheating problem with mine. And we've had a heatwave here in the Northeastern U.S.

Going by posts on the forum, there seem to be some ipad3's that run hot. Now how hot is too hot? I'm sure there is a definition somewhere. The larger battery and bigger graphics processor will generate more heat than previous models simply because they are working harder.

Is there a wide spread issue with 3's running too hot? Apparently not or there'd be a recall.

If you feel yours is too hot, then make an appointment and take it into the local apple store for diagnosis. Generally speaking, if you can hold it, touch it, probably okay. If it burns you? too hot. If you're concerned, take it in and have your concerns documented.

You must be using it with some CPU and GPU intensive games.

It should not get too hot if you are surfing the web.

Warm, yes, hot no. If its' too hot to handle, then take it in and have it looked at.
