I have my music library in iTunes on my PC. Included are CD's that I have downloaded. When I sync my iPad2 with the iTunes on the PC, I do not get the downloaded CD's onto my iPad, only the iTunes purchases. How do I get my CD's in the iPad as well?

You should look over some of the articles here: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/media/

Did you select them to sync?

Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.

Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.

Click on the Music Tab on the right.

Click on all of the albums or playlists that you want to sync - or the entire library if you like.

Click on the Sync Music Heading.

Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

What format are the songs in? These are the accepted formats for audio playback.

    • Audio formats supported: AAC (8 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), HE-AAC, MP3 (8 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, 4, Audible Enhanced Audio, AAX, and AAX+), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
    • Have these songs ever been synced to an iPod or any other iOS device? And what does "from CD's that I have downloaded mean? You imported them from CD or downloaded from the Internet?

    AAC 128 you mean?

Try this, quit iTunes, restart the iPad, restart your computer and then try again.

Well that answered that. You didn't get that message when you tried to sync before?

You're welcome. Good luck restoring the songs!
